Welcome to the Women Empowerment and Digital Inclusion (WEDI) platform. By accessing this or using this platform, you agree to comply and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of the Sarvodaya Online Store and WEDI online platform, all transactions conducted through it. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
➤ Eligibility
The WEDI platform Store is open to all users who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility criteria.
- Only participants of the Women Empowerment and Digital Inclusion Program are eligible to list and sell their products on the WEDI platform.
- Eligibility is strictly limited to those who are officially recognized as beneficiaries of this program.
- Any attempt to list or sell products by individuals or entities outside of this group will be considered a violation of these terms and may result in the termination of access to the platform.
➤ Account Registration
To purchase or sell products on the WEDI platform, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and are liable for any activity conducted through your account.
➤ Product Listings and Descriptions
All product listings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products meet all applicable quality standards and legal requirements. Sarvodaya reserves the right to remove or edit any product listings that violate these terms or any applicable laws.
➤ Payments
Payments for purchases will be arranged directly between the buyer and seller. By placing an order, buyers agree to pay the listed price for the products plus any applicable shipping fees as determined by the seller. Sellers will receive payments directly from buyers once the transaction is completed, after accounting for
any agreed-upon fees or charges.
➤ Shipping and Delivery
Sellers are responsible for the timely and accurate shipping of products to buyers. All orders must be shipped within the timeframe specified at the time of purchase. Sarvodaya is not liable for any delays or failures in delivery caused by the seller or third-party shipping providers.
➤ Returns and Refunds
Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction. Buyers may request returns or refunds according to the following conditions:
- Eligibility : Returns and refunds are subject to the seller’s return policy, which should be clearly
stated on the product listing. - Process : To initiate a return or refund, buyers must contact the seller directly within the
specified return period. Sellers are required to process eligible returns and refunds promptly.
➤ Intellectual Property
All content on the Sarvodaya Online Store/WEDI platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and product images, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content without the express written consent of the rightful owner.
➤ User Conduct
Users agree to use the Sarvodaya Online Store and the WEDI platform in a manner that is lawful, ethical, and respectful of others. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content.
- Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices.
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
➤ Limitation of Liability
The Sarvodaya Online Store/WEDI platform and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Sarvodaya reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Sarvodaya Online Store/WEDI platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
➤ Termination
Sarvodaya may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Sarvodaya Online Store/WEDI Platform for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these terms.
➤ Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka.
